Silverton's sled-shop saga took a couple twists and turns over the last week.
Silverton’s sled-shop saga took a couple more twists and turns over the last week, with the Town Council conducting an executive session on the matter Monday and the fire department expressing concerns that it might be in line for the next lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Paul and Sharon Zimmerman, owners of the downtown space in question, say that although the Town Council approved a zoning change for the shop behind Smedley’s Ice Cream Parlor last week, other issues remain unresolved, and they won’t drop their lawsuit until they hear from the town on those matters.
