XMR circuit to bring dozens of riders to Molas Lake Park
Dozens of snowmobilers will be converging on Molas Lake Park on March 13 and 14 as the Extreme Mountain Racing circuit’s Snocross competition on Saturday and drag racing on Sunday.
The races are part of the XMR series of races in the central Rockies.
XMR is an organization promoting Snocross in the Central Rocky Region for all levels of racers. Snocross is an exciting and growing sport, featuring short race tracks with multiple jumps and banked turns making it spectator friendly.
The event is being hosted by the Silverton Snowmobile Club.

Registration for the Molas Lake races will be Friday, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pickle Barrel Restaurant.
Admission to the races on Saturday and Sunday will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-14. Children under age five and younger are free.
Classes competing will be stock, semi pro, men/women, sport open class, master over 35, and four junior classes.
