Four incumbents and four challengers will be on the ballot for the April 6 town election, according to Town Clerk Brian Carlson.
Incumbents Fred Fasching, Chris Tookey, John Schertz and Pat Swonger filed petitions to be on the ballot, along with Andy Morris, Beccy Rhoades, Greg Swanson and Karla Safranski.
The deadline to turn in petitions to get on the ballot was Friday, March 5.
Carlson said absentee ballots for the town election may be requested in writing or verbally.
“I have applications available via e-mail, and they can also be picked up at Town Hall, Carlson said. The applications may be returned via mail, fax, e-mail, or in person.
“The deadline for returning an absentee ballot to me is Friday, April 2,” Carlson said. “However, those absentee voters who wish to have their ballots mailed to them should apply no later than the 15th of March to ensure enough time for mailing and returning the ballot.”
Voted ballots may be returned by mail, or delivered in person, by the voter or by anyone the voter designates (neighbor, friend, family, etc.).
“I expect to have ballots printed and ready for mailing by Monday, March 15,” Carlson said.
