Accord could end litigation.
The six-month-long dispute between town officials and the owners of a small shop space behind Smedley’s Ice Cream parlor appears to be drawing to a close, with the Town Council on Monday approving a settlement designed to end a lawsuit filed over the issue.
In a special meeting Monday, the Town Council conducted a conference call with Town Attorney Jeff Robbins of Durango.
