Silverton’s community theater group, A Theatre Group, has announced its schedule for the summer season.
The season will open with “Blithe Spirit,” the story of a husband haunted by two wives after a séance gone wrong in this hilarious British farce by Noel Coward.
• “Blithe Spirit” will be performed July 1-3 and July 7-10 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on July 4.
Performances will be at the Grand Imperial Hotel Theatre.
• Next up will be “The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Four siblings venture into the magical world of Narnia in this adaptation of CS. Lewis’s classic.
Performances will be July 21-24 at 7 p.m., 951 Greene Street
• A Theatre Group will present its Curios New Artist Series, including playwright Anthony Garcia, who will adapt the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “Enrique’s Journey,” which chronicles a boy’s dangerous odyssey to reunite with his ºmother.
Performances will be July 29-Aug. 1 at 7 p.m., followed by community talk-back sessions.

• The season finale will be “The Gladstone Kibosh.”
