KSJC elects new board

Community radio station has a new outlook for the future.

KSJC, Silverton Community Radio, has a new board of directors and a new outlook for the future at 92.5 FM.
Last week, Kyle Roberts was elected president of the nonprofit group, Scott Craig was elected vice president, Melissa Childs, treasurer, and Andrea Sell, secretary. Also named were three at-large board members — Jeremy Yanko, Eleanor Haley and Pam Briley.
“We already have 11 new DJs,” Roberts said. And the goal is to get a total of 36 lined up to go on the air by the end of the month. The DJs include a couple of local youths — Dillon Paxton and Will Custer, Roberts noted.
