"Blithe Spirit" to haunt audiences at the Grand
From Silverton Standard, the place where you can write!
Posted on July 01 2010, 1:20pm by Mark Esper in Local News category
A Theatre Group opens its 2010 season with comedy.
Madame Arcati is scheduled to communicate with the spirits daily in the Grand Imperial Theater beginning tonight, July 1.
Madame Arcati will begin her séance at 7:30 p.m. daily, except Sunday, July 4, when a matinee will be at 2 p.m. Evening séances will resume Wednesday, July 7 and give up the ghost after a final attempt to reach the other side on Saturday, July 10.
It has been reported that socialite and novelist Charles Condomine has engaged Madame Arcati as a spiritualist and medium to gather information for his next novel on the occult. Although he does not personally believe in ghosts, Charles and his second wife, Ruth have invited their friends, Dr. and Mrs. Bradman, (and you) to the séance for a good laugh.
Although Madame Arcati has had limited success reaching “the other side,” Charles’ first wife, Elvira, thought deceased, may appear to some.
Seating for the séances is limited to Charles & Ruth Condomine's closest friends. Reserve seating for this “spiritual” and spirited event is suggested for the 7:30 p.m. performances on July 1-3 and July 7-10 and the July 4 matinee at 2 p.m.
To reserve you seat at a “Blithe Spirit” séance, use temporal communications, (970) 387-5337, for best results.
