and 3:30 p.m. The tours start on Notorious Blair Street at Old Town
Square. Price is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and younger.
Concert Tuesday to help keep the sound of music in the school
The second annual benefit concert for the Silverton School music program will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church.
Donations will be accepted. A lineup of a variety of talented local performers will be presented.
Fundraiser dinner for youth center Aug. 18
Natalia’s 1912 Restaurant is sponsoring a Silverton Youth Center fundraising dinner, Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $12 each for the dinner which includes meatloaf, Italian potatoes, salad, green beans, dinner roll and beverage.
Children 12 and under, $7.
The youth center’s cookbooks will also be on sale for $16 each.
Annual Silverton
Sing-along Aug. 18
The annual Silverton Sing-along will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. 
The event is free to the public, who are welcome to ... sing along, according to Connie Bishop.
Preschool registration scheduled for Aug. 18
Preschool registration at the Silverton Family Learning Center is planned for Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m.
