Cold case file: Town Hall probe completed

But Colorado Bureau of Investigation reaches a dead end.
 
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s probe into what happened to personnel files that disappeared from Town Hall has reached a dead end, with the mystery now in the cold case files.
Town officials reported the disappearance of the personnel files in May. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, which receives funding from the Town of Silverton, turned the matter over to the CBI.
Town Administrator Jason Wells said Wednesday that the case involved one personnel file that had vanished and one that had been “significantly depleted.”
