A young bull moose took a stroll through Silverton on Tuesday morning, apparently headed down valley. Leslie and Calvin Knox spotted the moose walking down the alley behind their Cement Street home. Later it was spotted at the south end of town, where Stan and Susan Mitchell saw it walking along side the railroad tracks and took this photo. Stan says he and his wife had been going out to Howardsville to try to see the group of moose there, but with no luck. “If you wait for them to come to you, you’re better off than trying to find them,” Stan said.
