Officials with the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad said they are having a pretty good season, especially considering the state of the national economy.
Railroad owner Al Harper came to town on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for his annual meeting with Silvertonians on the state of the train. And he said he expects train ridership to be up 1 or 2 percent for the season that ends on Saturday, Oct. 30.
