Silverton high school students will be presenting a play, “They Went Thataway,” on Friday and Saturday, April 15-16, at Town Hall starting at 7 p.m.
It’s a fundraiser for their fieldwork. Suggested donation: $8 per adult.
Jamboree fundraiser gets jamming April 22
Local talent hosted by the Silverton band SKU will be featured a a fundraiser for KSJC-Silverton Jamboree on Friday, April 22.
The event will be an Earth Day Celebration at the Stellar Bakery & Pizzeria, starting at 7 p.m.
Admission is $25 per person, $40 per couple. Drinks, serious appetizers included.
And free seed packets will be distributed.
Artifacts to be shown
to benefit food bank
A second showing of Silverton resident Paul Rathbun’s collection of Native American artifacts is scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at Silverton Jerky, 1121 Greene Street, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Donations will go directly to the food bank.
Easter activities are planned at First Church
Here is the Easter worship schedule for First Congregational Church:
April 18 — Palm Sunday Service, 10 a.m. Refreshments before and after service.
April 22 — Good Friday Service, 6 p.m.
April 24 — Easter Sunday Service, 10 a.m. Refreshments before and after service.
The Silverton Easter Egg Hunt and Games follows at 11:45 a.m., First Church. All are welcome. Bring a bag to collect eggs and prizes. Refreshments also available for adults. Come join the fun.
