134 runners trek 13.2 miles to summit of 13,066-foot peak and back to town
The 34th running of the Kendall Mountain Run took place Saturday, July 16. Per tradition, the race again started at the Grand Imperial Hotel, but this year the finish line was moved from Town Hall to Memorial Park. Some 134 runners completed the half-marathon (13.2-mile) trek up the mountain and back to Silverton.
