New bridge and overlook at historic, scenic spot on Million Dollar Highway.
The new bridge and overlook at Bear Creek Falls on U.S. 550.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor American Civil Constructors, Inc. (ACC) have completed construction on the new Bear Creek Bridge on U.S. 550 over Red Mountain Pass – one of Colorado’s more historical high-mountain passes.
The work has wrapped up on schedule, just prior to winter weather hitting the area.
