Kicksled Rodeo to get kicking on Blair Street on Saturday
The annual Silverton Kicksled Rodeo will be held on Saturday, Feb 25.
Sledders are advised to convene at 10 a.m., at Avalanche Cafe on Blair Street for competitive events.
Snowmobile Fun Days set for Sunday at Molas Lake Park
The Silverton Snowmobile Club will be hosting its annual Fun Days event on Sunday, Feb. 26 at Molas Lake Park.
Events will begin around 11 a.m., and will include a dress race, inner tube race, sledding and a pot luck. All are welcome.
Please bring a side dish or dessert.
Snowmobile races
to run on March 3-4
The Silverton Snowmobile Club will be hosting a snowmobile snocross race and drag race again this year at Molas Lake Park, on March 3 and 4.
Snowmobile Club president Jim Lokey said the races will be sanctioned by the Colorado XMR circuit.
Lokey said this year’s event will include oval-track racing that is likely to boost attendance.
“It should be a fairly decent turnout,” Lokey said. “It will be the grand finale” for the XMR circuit. |
