Flashlight Walk planned for Fourth
From Silverton Standard, the place where you can write!

With fireworks canceled, how about a nighttime walk up the Shrine road, illuminated by flashlights?

Since there is not going to be any fireworks on the 4th of July at the Shrine this year, a group of citizens is organizing an impromptu community walk, up the Shrine road starting on 15th Street and walking as far as the Shrine.

Everyone is invited to meet on the Court House lawn (1557 Greene St) at 8:45pm on the evening of the 4th. Bring flashlights and/or head lamps.

This is an informal get-together.

Please help pass the word.
