On Greene Street: ‘The Complete History of America (abridged)’
Silverton’s A Theatre Group presents “The Complete History of America (abridged),” by Adam Long, Reed Martin, and Austin Tichenor.
“The Complete History of America (abridged)” is a politically irreverent romp through our nation’s historical ups and downs enacted for your amusement by Mason Miller, Desiree Henderson, and Lucas Schoenemann, and directed by Blair Runion.
Performances are July 3-8 and July 11-15 (July 4 and Sunday, July 15, 2 p.m. matinees; all other shows 7:30 p.m.) at the Grand Imperial Hotel Theatre. Admission is: $15 for adults, $10 for children10 years old and under.

riders rendezvous here
More than 200 off-highway vehicle riders are planning to converge on Silverton Aug 2-5 in the Rocky Mountain Adventure Rally rendezvous.
The event is a fundraiser for the Colorado Off Highway Vehicle Coalition.
The group says it “fights legislatively and socially to bring awareness to the fun of OHV activities and keep our trails open.”
Base camp for the event will be the Red Mountain Motel & RV Park.
