A semi truck driver was killed in a crash four miles north of Silverton early Monday morning, Sept. 10. The southbound truck was pulling a tank of magnesium chloride.
The accident was discovered at around 5:30 a.m. Silverton Ambulance transported the driver to town to meet a helicopter flight to Durango, but the patient died before the helicopter arrived.
