The deadline for filing petitions to get on the Nov. 4 general election ballot as an unaffiliated candidate has passed, and so has the deadline for filing an affidavit of intent to run for county office as a write-in candidate.
With the upcoming retirement of Sheriff Sue Kurtz, there will be a new sheriff in town. And County Treasurer Bev Rich is also retiring.
According to the San Juan County Clerk’s Office, the following candidates will be on the November ballot:
Bob Boeder (Democrat)
Ernie Kuhlman (unaffiliated, incumbent)
Bruce Conrad (D)
Ladonna Jaramillo (unafilliated, incumbent)
Susan Catt (D)
Deanna Jaramillo (unaffiliated)
Kathy Laskey (write in)
Kim Buck (D, incumbent)
Melanie Bergolc (unaffiliated)
Earle Horton (write-in)
Keri Metzler (unaffiliated)
