Kendall Mountain Ski Area officially opened Friday, December 15th, for the winter season. The first chair of the winter was once again sealed by Jayden Jones of Silverton, who apparently would have camped out overnight for it if her parents had let her, but they negotiated with a 9 am (2 hours before opening) start time for the day.
