Oct. 15 — A harassment incident was reported. A broken down vehicle was reported. An ATV driver was warned that they could not ride in town. A warning was issued to two juveniles to move out of the roadway and to abide by curfew. Received a dog-at-large complaint; the officer did not locate the dog. Received another dog-at-large complaint; the owner was warned.
Oct. 16 — Assisted with an injured dog. An elk was illegally killed and the incident was reported to the Division of Wildlife. Search and rescue was called to assist with an incident in San Miguel County. San Miguel had the situation resolved before our team arrived. Was called to the Miner’s Tavern to remove an intoxicated subject and take him home.
Oct. 17 — Received a dog-at-large complaint; the owner was warned. Received another dog-at-large complaint; the dog was not located. A motorist was assisted.
Oct. 18 — A warning was issued to a driver for attempting to back down the driveway at Cascade Village and then onto the highway. A dog at large was reported.
Oct. 19 — A theft was reported. A motorist was assisted. A warning was issued to the driver of a semi that they could not sleep in town. Received a report of a dog at large; the officer was unable to locate the dog. The officer on duty removed a traffic hazard from Greene Street.
Oct. 20 — A travel trailer parked at the south end of Lime Creek caught on fire. A motorist was assisted. A warning was issued to three ATV riders not to ride in town. A noise complaint was reported.
Oct. 21 — Charles A. Crawford, of Parlin, Colo., was transported to Detox after the undersheriff responded the second time to a disturbance at a residence. A one-vehicle traffic accident was investigated at mile marker 64.3. A motorist was assisted. A report was received of two lost dogs at Eureka.
