Two Local Men Charged With Theft of the Aerie Lodge Snowcat

On Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at about 3:00 pm in the middle of the day, two local Silverton men allegedly attempted to steal the under- construction Aerie Lodge’s $140,000 snowcat. The Aerie Lodge that is currently being built is located on San Juan County Road 110 near Silverton Mountain and is high up the mountainside.
