Winter 2024 is full of events, and both our local ski areas are now open for the winter season. Silverton Mountain, under new ownership starting this season, opened last week with great crowds.
They plan to run the ski area this season, 2024, like seasons in the past, but then they will look for opportunities and improvements this spring for winter 2025.
