Nicole Barr, head of the Silverton Jamboree Committee, said the music festival coming up June 13-15 should be even better than last year’s.
More than a dozen bands are lined up for this year’s Jamboree at Kendall Mountain Recreaton Area.
In addition to the full two days of music at the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area, late-night Juke Joints will be rocking at local venues on Friday and Saturday.
Performers this year include The Motet, Robert Bradley, The Reverend Horton Heat, JJ Grey and MOFRO, Papa Grows Funk, GiGi Love, The Last to Know, Flying Desert Brigade, Halden Wofford and the Hi Beams, Revision, Oakhurts, the Bruce Hayes Band, and Smooth Money Gesture.
The jamboree will also feature kids’ and family events, belly dance, and juggling.
Affordable weekend camping is available.
