The Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is planning to construct a new bridge across the Animas River just south of Silverton.
The new bridge, located near the entrance to the canyon created by the Animas River, will replace an existing bridge that was built nearly a century ago with a more modern concrete and steel bridge.
