Central House lodging house, 1172 Reese Street, around 1900. Photo shows 12th Street side of the Central House structures, including 2-story portion facing Reese Street. (Now the site of the school’s garden). At the right the rear of the old frame high school building on Snowden Street can be seen. None of individuals are identified. The print was found in building at 1260 Blair Street by John Scot Jackson when he took over operation of the museum in that building, formerly operated by Jess Carey.
