Body

Lois was born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1944. She had five other siblings. Her father Merle was a field supervisor in the oil industry and her mother Mable worked as a physical therapy aid. Together the family was transferred to Enid, Oklahoma where they raised their children. Lois followed in her mother’s footsteps and worked as a physical therapy aid for Enid State School. Lois was widowed but had two children

(Sharon and Richard). She moved to Silverton Colorado in the 1980s and found peace in the mountain life. Her years in Colorado were filled with nature, camping, hiking, and surrounding herself with friends. She loved the mountains and her wish for her ashes to be spread on Molas Pass will be carried out by friends and family. Her best friend, Bobby Dailey, and his sister Linda gave Lois years of memories and support. Lois was able to live a life of her making and was loved by the many who knew her. She will be so missed but we all know she is in God’s care now.

Lois is survived by Sharon Crabb (Daughter 60), Richard Knott (son 59), Sister Mary Mangus. Lois has 7 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services for Lois will be announced at a later date.
