Town Attorney Martha Whitmore from Hockersmith & Whitmore, LLC, resigned. In the resignation letter, Whitmore said “we have concluded that we are not the right ‘fit’ for the Town, and that you will be more satisfied with another attorney or firm.” They’ll stay on with the Town through December 31st or until a new attorney gets hired, whichever comes first.
