It is a long-standing tradition that Silverton School teachers bake cookies and deliver them during the last week of the semester to K-12 students. They show up to students’ houses and sing Christmas carols, dropping off the cookies along the way. However, the staff knew this year needed to be extra special as many families are being affected by the economic hardships from the global pandemic.
