On Tuesday, the Silverton Public School Board of Education approved the district’s COVID-19 safety plan to reopen Aug. 31 for the 2020-21 school year.
The plan requires daily health screenings, frequent handwashing and keeping students in small groups, and all staff and students will have to wear masks.
